Hello there,

My name is Christopher Strachan and I’ve been creating in some way, shape or form for as long as I can remember. As a child I was always fascinated by film, animation and art and spent a lot of my free-time studying how it was all made. From learning stop-motion animation with LEGO bricks and Adobe Flash in the early days of the internet to watching dinosaur documentaries on TV and teaching myself compositing and modeling to try and recreate them, I want to say I’ve come a long way - and I still have so much more to learn.

I hold a B.A. in Fine Arts, one Emmy nomination (2022) and one actual Emmy (2024). Recently I held a position at the Seattle Seahawks from 2020 to 2025 as the sole in-house animator and between my working life there I would often pick up freelance projects that ranged from indie film to larger clients like Ralph Lauren. Before that I did concert music visuals and infographics. You could call me a 3D generalist as my strength lies not in one task but my endless desire to try it all.

Currently my skills are honed in on animation of various kinds. Though I have experience and training in drawing, painting and graphic design, my interest currently lies in making it all move. My toolset of choice would be the Adobe Suite, Cinema 4D, Houdini and whatever other application I can get my hands on for those niche projects.

If you have a need for animation, and someone who has dedicated their life to learning it, let me know and let’s connect - I’d love to help you with your next project! Until then it’s back to my tutorials.

Take care,
Chris
